Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
